Christian John Zahra (born 8 April 1973), Australian politician, was an Australian Labor Party member of the Australian House of Representatives from October 1998 to October 2004, representing the seat of McMillan, Victoria. He was born in Malta, and was educated at La Trobe University. He was an electorate officer to a state Member of Parliament, a Project Leader with Gippsland Water, and Chief Executive Officer of the Aboriginal Health Service in Morwell, Victoria, before entering politics. At the time of his election he was the youngest member of the House of Representatives.[1] He was appointed the role of Shadow Parliamentary Secretary after the 2001 election.
In the 2004 election, Zahra was defeated by Russell Broadbent, the only incumbent Labor member in Victoria to lose his seat at that election.[2]
